Review by hotel critic
During our recent Easter getaway to the Rosewood Torquay, I was genuinely impressed with the charm of this family-run Victorian B&B. The immaculate condition of our superior double room was a breath of fresh air; it offered both comfort and style, with thoughtful touches that showed the hosts truly care about their guests. We enjoyed leisurely strolls to the nearby seafront and local restaurants, all within a 5-minute walk, making our stay convenient for exploring the scenic English Riviera. Amy, the owner, radiated warmth and hospitality, providing us with useful tips about local attractions, including the cultural gems of the Princess Theatre and Torquay Museum. One delightful surprise was the beautifully maintained garden, perfect for a quiet coffee outdoors—an unexpected gem in a bustling area. it felt like a blend of home and holiday, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an inviting escape in Torquay.
